Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared on a variety of TV series. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. She and her family fled to the US where they were granted asylum. Her family raised her with two sisters living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's camera work began on air when she started her career after appearing in several National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded the prize for most outstanding actress in the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she took on the role Chiara. She has appeared in television shows like How I Met Your Mother The CW's Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. The most recent time she appeared was as a supporting role in the action science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the indie comedy You Only Better (2009).
